From the splendor of lightning-fast riffs and hyper-speed drumming, to the heavy and powerful grooves that slash through the moshpit - THE FADING’s live show is an event to remember. Integrating influences from the veterans of the Swedish scene and the modern new-school American metal heroes, THE FADING delivers a violent and furious metal attack, sure to leave the crowd beaten and bruised.
The guys started shredding the stages across their homeland Israel in 2003 under the name Excessum. Following the band's name change to THE FADING in 2006, 2 independent EPs were released in the next couple of years, gaining the band support from the local crowd and positive press coverage.
In 2008 THE FADING was awarded the winner of the annual Metal Battle, which took place at the famous Wacken Open Air festival, granting the band a record deal with Wacken Records. The guys then headed to Studio Underground in Sweden to record their debut full-length release with veteran producer Pelle Saether (Ebony Tears, Necrodeath, Carnal Forge) and went on to mix the album in the Abyss Studios with Jonas Kjellgren (Scar Symmetry). Artwork was provided by the talented British artist Colin Marks (Nevermore, Strapping Young Lad, Aborted).
Summer 2009 marks the release of THE FADING's much-anticipated debut full-length album "In Sin We'll Find Salvation".

А гитарист - Пауль Митянин. Причём, оба эти парня - бывшие участники культовой израильской группы Arafel (фолк/блэк). Базируются The Fading в Тель-Авиве, и прославились они тем, что победили в конкурсе Wacken Metal Battle-2008, всвязи с чем лэйбл Wacken Records (подразделение Armageddon) выпустил дебютный альбом израильтян практически забесплатно. Повезло парням, ничего не скажешь (некоторые годами добиваются записи альбома, но не имеют для этого средств), однако Бадров сотоварищи заслужили свою награду по праву - материал, который они исполняют, достоин самых лучших слов. Хотя модель МДМ, выбранная командой, новизной не блещет, но исполнена она качественно, экспрессивно и драйвово. Играют ребята плотно, качево, с немалой дозой трэша в рифаже. Темп, как правило, скоростной, или просто выше среднего. Довольно технично сыграно, а местами особенно - например, в таких треках, как The Sin Collector и Age Of Phobia. Правда, к сожалению, не хватает хитовости - как общеальбомной, так и каждому номеру в отдельности. Две упомянутых композиции - лучшие, на мой взгляд, но хитовыми их назвать вряд ли возможно. Не совсем понравился вокал: на мой взгляд, он больше в духе американской школы - соответственно, возникают отдалённые ассоциации с металкором; также не радуют в этом плане короткие хоровые выкрики в Destination, Life. Материал ровный, без провисов. Минутный фортепианный проигрыш Beyond Perfection - видимо, для того, чтобы слушатель мог перевести дух от мелодий и ритмов израильской "эстрады".
