Big Time Changes. Probably the most iconic Seikima-II album, whose name is not at all random. Because for Seikima-II, 1987 brought many changes. Their lead guitarist Jail O'hashi left the band. But Seikima-II were willing to continue, so they introduced their then-new guitarist, Luke Takamura. Luke was much different than Jail, being a lightning-fast guitar virtuoso, he also became a leading composing member. Seikima-II were to fully utilize Luke's infinite musical talent, as he contributed hymns like "1999 Secret Object" to the album.
The quintet of Demon Kogure (vocals), Ace Shimizu (guitar), Luke Takamura (guitar), Xenon Ishikawa (bass), and Raiden Yuzawa (drums) proved to become the most well-known and stable Seikima-II line-up ever, as it lasted till their disbandment in 1999. With the release of Big Time Changes, Seikima-II's career in Japan skyrocketed, and they became one of the most popular Japanese heavy metal bands in history.
