Ok, Each time i downloaded an APE or FLAC or WavPack, etc. I mean lossless files in general, my ass ripped off ! Because i always wanted converting them in to the best high quality MP3 format (lame 3.93.1 with EAC) but every time time i got some weird problems ! But this time i find the solution of this matter that bugs me a while.

I know maybe all of you guys knows about it, but i wanted to explain my own experience in this article. Hope help somebody else who have this problem that i had.

Ok, I hope I can explain these steps very fucking easy !

Programs you need:
Note: I use Windows XP SP3, But i try to upload the programs that Windows 7 users can use them as well.

• Foobar2000 (v1.1.5+APE Plugin) For all Windows --> Make sure read the "Read Me" txt after installation.
• EAC 0.95b4 (lame 3.93.1) --> Installing language is in Russian, But the program itself is in English.
• Virtual CD-DVD-ROM --> Win XP |WIN 7 or take your pick!
• Nero (Note: It's not matter what Burning program you use, But make sure that program could read & handle the .cue sheets)

Step 1: Converting to .wav
I start it with a FLAC file. Don't matter what format it is, All formats should convert to .wav .

1. Open Foobar2000, drag the .flac file to it. -->
2. Right click on the file then Convert --> [last Used] then Choose the destination folder and Save. -- >
3. Close the Converter Ourput window and exit the program. -->

Step 2: Editing .cue sheet

1. Copy the .cue sheet file from FLAC folder directory and paste it to the folder you choosed for converting to .wav .
2. Open a Notepad and drag the .cue file to it. Change the flac (Line 7) to wav. -->
3. Remember, your file name must be exactly looks like the file name (band name - album title.wav) in the Line 7 in your .cue sheet. -->

Step 3: Burn it .cue file down! to an .nrg (Image file)

1. Open Nero Burning ROM and close the New Compilation window then go to -->Recorder --> Burn Image --> open .cue file and Burn it. or follow these pictures: -->
2. *Open Virtual CD-DVD-ROM program. It will show up as a tray icon like shown here --> . Right clicking on the icon will load a new menu using which you can mount or unmount and image files as a virtual CD / DVD drive. Selecting the virtual drive will show you options to mount or unmount the drive. Then you able to open the Image.nrg that you burn it with Nero in part 2 of step 3 -->

*Note: I using NeroImageDrive, but it seems just work with WinXP and WinVista. So the "Virtual CD-DVD-ROM" are the alternative program for this matter.

Step 4: Rip the CD Image with EAC (Exact Audio Copy)
I know everybody knows how to work with EAC in metalarea.org, but i have to complete this article.

1. Open EAC, Choose MagicISO Vitural DVD/CDRom -->
2. Push MP3 button .
3. Have Fun & Kill Yourself !!!

Couldn't be better.

Both programs do the same thing. Difference is that foobar do that faster.

Faster, with lame 3.93.1? So it's good then.

Yep, step 3 and 4 are totally useless.

Well, I don't know much about Foobar, how to put find CD information (album title, song title & number etc.) online in this program?
