All the recordings are the raw versions from the demos, with no re-
mastering or editing done. We chose to keep the recordings in their
pure form, to keep the old raw feeling they had back in the days.
These recordings were the very roots of Ancient, what got them
noticed in the underground scene worldwide back in 1993/ 1994.
Includes early images and liner notes by Aphazel & Grimm.

Track 1-6: Recorded at Verftet Lydstudio, Bergen, July – October 1993.
Track 7: Recorded by Aphazel October 1992.
Track 8-9: Recorded at Hindu Lyd, Bergen February 1994. These are
early versions (alternative guitar solo on Huldradans for instance)
and mixes of the tracks, which later appeared on the Svartalvheim
album in December 1994. These recordings, appeared in these raw
versions on the Det Glemte Riket 7”, released April 1994.
Track 10-11: Recorded at the Warlust Studios, November 1994. These
are pre- production versions of the tracks which appeared on the
Trolltaar mini album in 1995.
