Prophecy started as a Speed Metal band, but recorded their first demo called Crucifixion as a Death Metal band in 1991. Two more death metal demos were released before they changed their style to Black Metal; they recorded two more demos in this style: Gorsedd in 1995 and Jadis in 1997.
