Nordlys is Norwegian (and also Danish) for Northern Lights.
Formed from the ashes of Fjell. Due to problems with their Norwegian name the band changed it to Pest in 1998, then to Die Pest in the same year, then played a couple of live gigs under the name Schwarze Wut and finally changed it back again to Nordlys in 2010.
