Despite the notable work in this style, there is still not much information about the release in open sources to this day.
But there is still something.

The release "Per Aspera Ad Astra" (2024) from the international neoclassical symphonic metal project Mare Salutis received attention for its atmospheric instrumental presentation and unique compositional structure. This EP consists of three parts, united by a common theme, creating a dramatic and sublime musical narrative.
The strength of the release is its complex combination of neoclassical and metal elements, which is perfect for fans of symphonic metal and experimental instrumental music.

Each of the three parts lasts from two to four minutes, and according to reviews, the music conveys a sense of space travel and the struggle to reach heights, corresponding to the title "Per Aspera Ad Astra" ("Through Thorns to the Stars"). The compositions are rich in orchestral arrangements, classical guitar parts and interspersed keyboards, which gives the sound an epic feel and depth.
Among the performers on the album, resources note the high level of the authors of all the music, arrangers and guitarists Konstantin Ageev and Paul Popov, as well as the participation of violinist Svetlana Getman, who added special lyricism and richness to the sound.

The release received honest positive reviews on independent portals such as "VKontakte" (Russian: "ВКонтакте") and "Mastersland", where its emotional expressiveness and masterful work with the neoclassical metal genre were emphasized. The tracks are available for listening on all digital music platforms and are already finding their audience among connoisseurs of the genre.
