The Game is a rock album by English band Queen released June 30, 1980. It was the only Queen album to reach the #1 position in both the United Kingdom and the United States and became Queen's best selling studio album in the US with four million copies sold to date, tying News of the World's US sales tally.
Though the album had simpler song arrangements than previous Queen albums, The Game launched Queen into global megastars. Notable songs on the album include the bass driven "Another One Bites the Dust" and the rockabilly "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", both of which reached number 1 in the United States.
The Game was the first Queen album to use synthesizers (an Oberheim OB-X), and the album's popularity inspired the band members to continue using them heavily for the rest of the band's career, with somewhat mixed results. The album's working title was "Play the Game", but Taylor voiced concern about its possible overtones of conformity, so it was changed to simply "The Game".

StabWound's notes;
This is NOT my original RiP. Once again I mirrored it off Avaxhome. Much respect to the original ripper/uploader for his/her awesome work.
This is perhaps one of the truly great Rock albums of the 80's. Is there anything cooler then the song; "Another One Bites The Dust", I mean it's jsut about the coolest song ever written, such simple brilliance has rarely been surparsed.
Enjoy this stunning audiophile CD reproduced by the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab from the original Master tapes, it just does NOT get any better then this, pure bliss.

A note to the moderators;
The Audio Parameters used to calculate the lenght (Time) of the album is causing problems on this flac release. It's is calculating a very low bitrate for this flac of 502kbps, when in fact the release has an average bitrate of 813Kbps with a running time of 1:01:40.
Not sure why it's doing that. I'm using the Opera browser, perhaps that is causing problems.
