The Order of the Silver Night is a movement dedicated to starting a new renaissance of extreme metal, taking the scene back
underground away from the posers and fakes that have cropped up in the post-1996 subculture.
Most of this material was recorded early to mid 2009, by several different independent projects including:

The primary genre of these releases is Black Metal, however there are folk elements on several albums as well as noise/dark ambient on others.
