Compilation of the songs taken from a 1992 - Rehearsal Tape, from their 1993 - "Unnailed" (Demo), the 1994 - "Of Indifference" full-length tape release and the 1995 - "Accustomed To Illusion" full-length tape release.

What do we have here? A double CD by the Polish band Parricide (do not confuse ‘em with the dozen of bands that go by the same name!) through Mad Lion Records. The band started back in 1990, has released some demo’s, some full-lengths and some splits and has evolved from a death metal band into a vicious grindcore act.
This is audible on this release whilst the ‘Just Past’ disc is a compilation of the ”best” songs from their old (demo) tapes from 1990 to 1997 taken from a 1992 rehearsal tape, from their 1993 ‘Unnailed’ demo, the 1994 ‘Fascination Of Indifference’ full-length cassette release and the 1995 ‘Accustomed To Illusion’ full-length pro tape. Sure, the sound is a bit meagre but this compilation gives a good overview of Parricide’s recording career back in the Nineties. The ‘Just Five’ disc is actually the new album which is a grindcore fan’s dream come true. I definitely think Parricide is a grindcore band you should know about if you’re into grindcore (but that’s kind of obvious). The sound is very good and the songs split your ears in half and if you are into filthy, dirty grindcore, this double CD is for you!
