Born in 2004 in Trento city, northern Italy, Morak started as the only gothic metal band over there.
In 2005 they realeased their first demo "Damned Souls" and did lots of gigs, which increased their popularity in the city and among local metal bands.
Most of the original members are not in the band anymore, for personal or musical reasons. The band passed moments of deep crisis and nearly split-up.
In 2006 the band won the special prize at the YmA(young metal attack) organized by the famous association Metalparty
The band did a lot of gigs around and played with the famous symphonic metal group Valkyre.
