Sheldon Scrivner
all guitars, bass, drum programming, keyboards
Influenced by the melodic emotion of David Gilmore, the energy of Joe Satriani, the fretboard acrobatics of guitar greats like Tony MacAlpine, Paul Gilbert, Vinnie Moore, and many others, Sheldon has forged his own style of coaxing fire and passion out of six strings. Inspired early on by the hard rock guitarists of the 70s but weaned on the guitar frenzy heydays of the 80s, Sheldon has been hailed by fans and guitarist colleagues as “inspirational, stunning, one of the most expressive guitarists on MySpace”. Having played over the years in various bands and recording projects from the Bay Area in California to Phoenix, Arizona, Sheldon is currently working on a CD of instrumental rock guitar which will include many of the songs heard here. Some of them were featured two years ago in a documentary on biofuel. As well as working on songs with Gary Ramsey of 13, Sheldon is also proud to be involved in the newly revamped Exitwound project founded by fellow guitar powerhouse, Paul Underwood of Billings, Montana. Exitwound is destined to be a musical force in the Native music world and beyond. Sheldon truly believes that music is a gift given to us by the Creator, an inspiring and healing force meant to be shared with the world...
