Band started-out as Sinner, a moniker which was changed to Steeler in 1983. They recorded a demo in 1982 which contained the tracks "She's a Stealer", "Love for sale" and "Call her Princess".
After the split of Steeler Axel founded his solo Project Axel Rudi Pell. The last line-up (with Spacek instead of Pell and Zuccaroli instead of Yildiral) never recorded an album and played only live.
Axel and Thomas both played guitars on the first release of the German Metal all-star project X-Mas Project in 1985.
