That's what I'm talking about - in blend of black and death metals there are several branches. Behemoth surely weren't founders of blend itself, but in 1999-2000 they founded one NEW branch of it and this branch grows to strong tree. You can like it or not (me personally don't - I'm not fan nether Behemoth 99-00, nor their followers), but it is dull to fight against this fact.
Nowadays it's even unnecessary to fight against commercial bands. People can listen to whatever they want. War between the underground and mainstream is over long time ago. On the other hand sometimes you can notice that some underground bands support the mainstream ones and vice versa. ''Do what thou wilt''.
I remember - I've heard this band. they played Black/Thrash (as Sacrofago does), not Black/Death
Oh, these tags again. For me Mortuary Drape is Black/Death. Call them as you wish, but it's a great band anyway.
Behemoth 02-07 is almost pure MA-worship (and much weaker than original staff), while Evangelion is some kind of blackening of MA-worship and it is really more original way. 100% agree.
Yes, ''Evangelion'' is among their best if we consider albums released only after 1996.
