I have seen them floating around on the internet as so called bonus tracks but I highly doubt it. I cannot seem to find any information regarding the above. Where do they come from? Has the band put them up on Myspace for download or what's the deal?

OK guys, it seems that my network is finally working, so i've upload at Mediafire a .rar file with "So Many Questions" from Dragonland's "Holy War album, and the radio edits for "Heroes of Our Time" and " The Last Journey Home" from DragonForce.

The both DragonForce tracks don't seem to be the correct versions.
"Heroes Of Our Time (Radio Edit)" is supposed to run (04:16), yours is (04:58).
(I got it in 128kbps so I know (04:16) is the real one - available on iTunes)
"The Last Journey Home (Radio Edit)" is supposed to run (05:05), yours is (04:47)
(and an upconvert from 128kbps by the way - most likely taken from youtube).
Both of yours are Video Edits (taken from their official music video) but thanks for the effort anyway - it's appreciated

And that Dragonland single you're refering to does not exist. Shadow Of The Mithril Mountains was the first track from the new album they uploaded on Myspace. Some youtube video have been tagged as "Shadow Of The Mithril Mountains (Demo)" but it's the same version than the album version only in low quality. Someone prove me wrong.

In fact, the bonus CDs were officialy released, as far as I know, there were only 500 copies. Looking for a working torrent was a hard task.
About DF instrumentals, they were published at DF webpage (with a download link obviously) just for the new singer video auditions, if anyone have them, please upload the tracks
And, that "demo" of "Shadow of the Mithril Mountains" is not the same than the album, there's a little narration between the first and the second verse and the keyboard medley is diferent too, just focus a little on the details of the song.

I have seen the torrent where this is coming from, that doesn't make it a fact. I have an account so I looked up demonoid and there is also no information about it being "real". I have never ever heard of this no vocals/no guitar thing before, neither from a user nor from the record company/label and I'm quite into music.

This is nothing against you personally but as long as I don't have a link that proves it's a strictly limited edition that was officially released (must have been Nuclear Blast in this case) I don't trust this. And I'm not talking about Musik Sammler: That's not a reliable source at all! Just for example, when you search for the EAN# and/or Cat# using google all you get is results for Musik Sammler...
Fact is there is no information about a 3CD edition on the official Rhapsody Of Fire homepage, not on the Nuclear Blast page, not on the Metal Archives, not even on wikipedia.
Also, judging by the spectrum it's not 320kbps but transcoded from VBR scene release, only without vocals/guitar.
Besides the above this is just another point that indicates it's most likely fake.

Since Shadow Of The Mithril Mountains (Demo) was never made available for free download (which means there is no proper copy) and is already removed from Myspace streaming, your best bet is ripping that very track from youtube then. Not much difference in sound quality than ripping from Myspace.

Well, it's very annoying that someone "treats" you as a liar, but well, the Mailorder Edition (limited to 500 copies) contains the 3 CD's, the regular edition, the vocalless cd and a guitarless cd, I'll put a link, unfortunately it's on japanese, but just translate it with your browser. I found the so called Japanese edition on the internet long time ago but figured it's fake and actually the European edition. That means "Higher" is in fact the instrumental "Mystery" and "On A Crossroads" is in fact "House Of War" (just listen to the lyrics). The real Japanese edition bonus tracks are still missing Thanks for trying though.
