Первое - брутала тут нет. Просто дет-метал.
Второе - дет метал тут оказался отличным. Песня Lament of a Sordid God дико порадовала композиционно. Всё прослушать не успел, но, альбом предстаёт весьма интересным, хоть я и терпеть не могу такой звук гитар, и элементы МорбидАнгел-вошип, особенно, в вокале.
Вечером обязательно буду слушать ещё и целиком.

Через альбом может быть и совсем мелодик дэт заиграют, тем более наклон туда уже есть (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif)
Звук не очень пришелся по вкусу (хотя в случае с Beheaded это было всегда), с остальным все гуд.

Не брутально все это. Скоростно но нету жестокости в рифмах. Слабовато. А жаль прошлые альбомы были отменные.

Мелодика мелькает совсем уж откровенная, и это как-то неправильно (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif)
И гитары можно бы более жёстко вывести (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif)

А "поклоны" в сторону морбидов мне тоже пришлись по вкусу, тем более, что всё это не явно и хорошо сделано.

Слушал вроде внимательно, но "поклонов в сторону морбидов" особо не заметил.

I think it is Death Metal - not Brutal Death Metal, because the vocals are identifiable.
In Brutal Death Metal the voice is a instrument, not for words and rates.

Изумительный прибруталенный Death Metal, гармоничный, классно придуманный и сыгранный.

Группа очень серьезно перестроилась, прибавив в композиторском мастерстве, появился ненавязчивый мелодизм и сложноразмерные риффы (сравнение с МА действительно уместно, но это комплимент). Вообще, эта пластинка вышла очень ориентированной на гитару - Омар молодец, но на самом деле все инструменты звучат классно и достаточно живо.

Материал целостный и без слабых мест, но особенно я бы выделил закрывающую композицию - The Ancient Acumen - душа альбома и просто плита.

Черт да, брутала тут нет, но тут есть просто шикарнейший дэт.

Банда добилась всего, к чему можно стремиться в бдм, выпустили идеальный по форме и содержанию Ominous Bloodline, и сменила вектор.
Такой дэт мне оооочень по душе. Напористый, агрессивный, плотный, бескомпромиссный. Риффовка в духе морбидов присутствует, даже более того, имхо чуть ли не все здесь на ней построено + подход Hate Eternal + немного своих модерновых фишек и увеличенная плотность. Просто иногда риффы настолько похожи, что включи кто-нибудь мне их я бы мог подумать, что это демка нового альбома морбидов. Особенно похожи тремольные запилы, они словно взяты с Covenant, хотя бы те же тремольники в первом трэке, и соляново. Но в основном риффы переделаны под себя, добавлены сбивки и в целом свое видение, больше вдохновение, нежели копирование. Морбиды в моем представлении более эстетичный дэт, сабж же - огалтелый и агрессивный, поэтому потребовалось прийти к некоторой другой формуле.
Еще местами кусочки попадаются, схожие со старым стаффом в духе Suffocation, но совсем немного. В остальном же новая группа, почти не узнать.

Немного мелодий завезли, но имхо в мелодэт это не скатывается вообще никак, не больше мелодики, чем в шведском дэте, все в рамках сурового жанра.

Напор тут просто бешеный, вокал крайне безжалостен, звучные драмсы, неумолкающие гитары, просто отлично!
