Подняв собственную творческую планку на Desintegration, The Cure так и не смогли снова достичь уровня этого альбома. Наряду с очень интересными песнями (High, Friday I'm in Love, A Letter to Elise, Cut) на альбоме есть откровенно скучные вещи (Wendy Time, To Wish Impossible Things). Не смотря на такой расклад, альбом получился очень даже ничего.

Да ладно, минимум 2/3 треклиста - годные вещи. Помимо Apart это From The Edge..., Friday, I'm in Love, Trust, A Letter to Elise, Cut, To Wish Impossible Things... Open же, напротив, никогда не выделял. Альбом в топ-3 у The Cure.
