Node started out as more of a Death/Grind band, then gradually moved to a more Death/Thrash sound. Currently, the band now plays Melodic Death Metal with Thrash tendencies and a more aggressive nature to the song writing than most bands of the Melodic Death moniker.
Gary D' Eramo left the band in March 1997, came back in 1999 and will left again in May 2009
