Так далёко в пучину собственного вдохновения Opeth не заносило ещё никогда... Да, основная металл-музыка распрощалась с ними давно, да им удалось найти компромисс с гением в лице Стивена Уилсона... Но то было, скорее прогрессом от металла, влекущим своей нордической сумеречностью и призрачными видениями событий хороших и не очень. По сути, увлечения творчеством Deeperurple ( (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif) ), Led Zeppelin, Rainbow и тп обыкновенной хардой шведские металлисты довольно хитро сочли за "прогресс" . Здесь же, всё аккуратно под старину, и более серьёзные инспирации (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile4.gif) апогей влияния Porcupine Tree, King Crimson, Скотт Уолкер, Ashra и что там ещё носит на груди Микаэль Окерфельдт.
