Не знаю уж, почему темы про кренделей процветают, а про достойные группы, не состоящие в легионе "True Pure Black", исчезают. Модераторы балуют, наверное.

Вообщем по поводу последнего EP и альбома. Ударные - читай поклонение творчеству Godflesh раннего периода. Музыка в целом - уход от традиционного блека и металла в целом, творческий поиск, который /на мой взгляд/ удался. Говоря об идейной стороне, наткнулся на довольно старое интервью с коллективом здесь

Отдельно выйдет новый альбом "What Once Was".
Затем выйдет переиздание альбома "The Mystical Beast of Rebellion", на втором диске которого будет другой новый альбом, совсем другой, абсолютно другой, не "What Once Was".

this is my favourite band first of all for the music but also for the vindsval's philosofy ( black metal is a deep obscure feeling with no limits of espression, you have to be obscure but you also have to be original, a copy is useless.)

after listening the whole discography, this is my idea:



Ultima Thulée Full-length 1995: 7/10 great atmosphere but it seems the third vlad demo

Memoria Vetusta I: Fathers of the Icy Age Full-length 1996: 7,5/10 the beginning of the blut aus nord real concept, majestic

The Mystical Beast of Rebellion Full-length 2001 : 9/10 savage, raw, vindsval catch the inspiration from the blair's witch project movie... i'm not surprised.

The Work Which Transforms God Full-length 2003 : almost 10/10 a pure avantgarde, industrial jewel

Thematic Emanation of Archetypal Multiplicity EP 2005 : 8,5/10 great piece of industrial, strange menting of godflesh, the most blut aus nord electronic side and a hip hop flavour, for me the beginning of the 777 project (not the trilogy of records but the future band)

MoRT Full-length 2006 : 10/10 obscure original , nightmare

Odinist - The Destruction of Reason by Illumination Full-length 2007 : 9/10 the light side of mort

Memoria Vetusta II: Dialogue with the Stars Full-length 2009 : 8/10 good but nothing new from mv 1

What Once Was... Liber I EP 2010 : 7/10 pretty but just a tribute to old incantation and autopsy (from vindsval words)

777 - Sect(s) Full-length 2011 :8,5/10 good mix of the blut aus nord history

in november we will listen the second part of the trilogy, i'm looking forward.

So this is only my opinion (not the supreme truth, you are free to think it in a different way and leave a comment

Что со второй частью 777? Обещали в сентябре, третью - в ноябре. Сайт у них клёвый, конеш, инфы предостаточно.

Новый альбом нагло оцифрован и шикарен! Поменялся звук - в лучшую сторону, конечно же.

Начиная с Зверя все ох*енейше! Но если зверь прибурзумлен`94 , то начиная с Бога за исключением смерти и второй части диалогов все неимоверно круто. Транс, астрал, иное.

Насколько разнообразный этот проект, настолько же он интересный во всех своих сферах деятельности.

Самым крутым я у него считаю трилогию "777", которая даже внутри себя блещет разнообразием, переходя от шизофренического блэк-индастриал-террора к более мелодичной и гипнотизирующей музыке.

В остальном творчестве мне сложно выставлять приоритеты, но в любом случае оно всё пришлось мне по нраву. Леденящий атмоблэковый дебютник, эпическая трилогия "Memoria Vetusta", укоренённые в индустриальном и диссонансном звучании работы, такие как "The Work Which Transforms God", "MoRT", "Odinist", "Deus Salutis Meæ" - всё это получилось у проекта здорово.

Даже на релизах поменьше калибром можно отыскать жемчужины. Миньон "Thematic Emanation Of Archetypal Multiplicity", например, нельзя упускать из вида уже за одну тамошнюю ритуальную "Level-3 (Nothing Becomes)". А на сплите "Codex Obscura Nomina" представлены не менее интересные, чем на альбомах, темы, базирующиеся на индустриальном звучании.

Достаточно редкий случай, когда весьма плодовитый музыкант постоянно держит марку качества, ещё и в разных сферах.
