The "Urfaust" was Goethe''s unfinished interpretation of the medieval German Faustian tale in prose that later evolved into his masterpiece "Faust."
Urfaust started as an ambient project of Vloekwaard (IX / Willem). ''Urväterlicher Sagen'' was the only ambient release.
Urfaust also contributed to the Ildjarn Tribute "Gathered Under The Banner of Strength And Anger" on Pestilence Records (now known as |Target:Earth| Productions) with the tracks "I Anmarsj Gjennom Grangrunn" (1:46) and "Skogens Hatefulle Skapning" (8:25).
VRDRBR also played on The Devil''s Blood 7" "Graveyard Shuffle."
