German black metal band Farsot are going to release their forth full-length after a silence of six years. The new album is Fail Lure and will be released as CD digipack on April 21 2017 on Lupus Lounge, whose parent label Prophecy Productions has released a teaser for Fail Lure. It is less than two minutes, but it is enough to sense that it will be a masterpiece!

Grand Belial's Key - Goat of a Thousand Young / Triumph of the Hordes

The 4th of April, 2017, will see an official re-issue of Grand Belial's Key's demo recordings on CD. This piece of US Black Metal History comes as a Hardcover Digibook 2CD, with a 34 pages’ booklet that features an exclusive interview, lyrics, old pictures of the Band etc.

CD 1 features a remastered version of ”Goat of a Thousand Young” and ”Triumph of the Hordes”, an alternative intro and the first demo recording of the track ”Goat of a Thousand Young”(instrumental). CD2 holds a raw live recording of GBK, live at the Bayou / Washington DC, 25/06/1995.

A vinyl version is in the works as well and can be expected within the near future. More details in due time…

Swedish black metal cult Arckanum has announced details for their highly-anticipated new album called "Den Förstfödde". Originally planned to be an EP, the album is now going to be a full-length which Johan "Shamaatae" Lahger is currently recording in the studio. Expect a summer release date via Folter Records.
"Den Förstfödde", which means "the first born" in Swedish, is a dedication to the first son of Loki and Angrboða, Jörmungandr, the Giant Thursian serpent whose enormous power encircles the worlds. The record will be dark and heavy as a means to sonically imitate the primordial voice of the serpent. Shamaatae has decided to write the entire album in Swedish with some of the song titles revealed to be "Likt Utgårds Himmel", "Kittelns Beska", and "Du Grymme Smed".
